Job summary

CPM UK is seeking a Business Development Executive in St Helens to represent Diageo's premium brands in off-trade retailers. You will call into grocery multiples such as ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons across Chester, Liverpool, Preston, Warrington, Wigan and surrounding areas.

You will need a full UK driving licence. The role offers up to £28,500 salary plus up to £3,000 bonus and a company car, with pension, 20 days holiday (rising), life assurance and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience in retail/sales preferred but full training provided.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to influence store managers.
• Commercially minded with the ability to analyse in-store data and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Carry out face-to-face visits to off-trade retailers within the territory.
• Advise on promotions and raise awareness of the Diageo product range.
• Check stock levels using provided data and resolve potential issues.
• Ensure shelf space and displays are in place to maximise sales.
• Draw up bespoke business plans using local market knowledge.
• Report outcomes and share competitor insights via the supplied tablet.
