Job summary

Barratt Redrow plc is seeking a Sales Adviser to guide customers to their dream home and deliver outstanding service throughout the sales journey.

You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to build rapport, and a proactive approach to follow up leads. The role requires flexibility for weekends and travel and supports a hybrid working model where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering sales in a service environment (housebuilding, retail, hospitality, banking, estate agency).
• Commercially astute with a good understanding of the market and competitors.
• Understands and acts upon customer needs to maintain company reputation.
• Thrives on challenge, resilient and driven to achieve targets.
• Remains calm and controlled under pressure.
• Keeps up to date with legislation, economics and technology.
• Communicates persuasively and negotiates—builds rapport with customers.
• Embraces change and explores new ways of working to grow sales.
• Encourages and supports team members; shares knowledge and best practice.
• Builds relationships across functions, internally and externally.
• Self-starter who works effectively without direct management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• IT literate.
• Willing to work weekends/bank holidays and travel as needed.
• Holds a full driving license and access to a vehicle for business travel.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate comprehensive local knowledge including amenities, schools, transport links and competitors.
• Understand our product and pricing to effectively present to customers.
• Follow up leads to convert enquiries into site visits.
• Utilise our sales methodology, schemes and incentives to close sales.
• Aim to achieve sales targets in line with business requirements.
