Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking a Sales Adviser to help customers find their dream home and deliver exceptional service throughout the sales journey.

You will need excellent interpersonal, listening, questioning, empathy and closing skills, with the ability to demonstrate products and negotiate effectively to close sales. A flexible approach to weekends and travel is required, supporting a thriving sales operation.

Qualifications

• Experience of delivering sales in a service environment (housebuilding, retail, hospitality, banking, estate agency)
• Commercially astute with good understanding of the market and competitors
• Understands and acts upon customer needs to maintain company reputation
• Thrives under pressure; motivated to hit targets
• Keeps up to date with legislation, economic conditions and technology

Responsibilities

• Help customers find their dream home and provide excellent service throughout the sales process
• Demonstrate local knowledge of amenities, schools, transport links and competitors
• Understand our product and pricing and apply sales methodology to close deals
• Achieve sales targets in line with business requirements
• Maintain effective lead follow-up to convert enquiries to site visits
