Job summary

Health Recruit Network is seeking a Care Coordinator to join a growing domiciliary care service in Southampton. This hands-on role focuses on staff rota creation, coordinating care visits, and delivering excellent outcomes for service users.

You will liaise with service users, families, care staff and healthcare professionals, support recruitment and onboarding, and assist the Registered Manager with day-to-day operations. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in domiciliary care — essential.
• Experience coordinating care staff or managing rotas — essential.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle — essential.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage staff rotas using electronic rostering systems.
• Allocate care visits efficiently to meet service user needs.
• Liaise with service users, families, care staff, and healthcare professionals.
• Respond to changes in care needs and manage emergency cover.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new care workers.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and staff availability.
• Maintain accurate care records and compliance documentation.
• Support quality assurance, spot checks, and care reviews.
• Assist the Registered Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Participate in on-call rota where applicable.
