Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking a motivated Band 2 Domestic Assistant to join the Domestic Services team at Nairn Hospital. The role is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 17:00 to 20:00, with uniform and PPE provided and access to the workplace pension scheme.

Responsibilities include cleaning wards, clinics, treatment rooms, offices and public areas to support Infection Prevention & Control standards and to maintain a safe, clean environment for patients and staff.

• Previous experience desirable, though full training will be provided.
• Must be flexible, committed and have a positive attitude.

The hours for this post are 15hrs per week to be worked Monday Friday 1700hrs-2000hrs.

Previous experience desirable although full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

You will need to be flexible, committed and have a positive attitude to your work.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
