Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking a Band 2 Domestic Assistant for Badenoch and Strathspey Community Hospital. 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 5pm–8pm, with enhanced rates for weekends and unsocial hours. Uniform and PPE provided; access to the Workplace Pension Scheme and generous holiday entitlement.

Experience desirable but full training will be given. You must be flexible, committed and uphold Healthcare Support Worker Induction standards in Scotland.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic professional to join the team of domestics within Badenoch and Strathspey Community Hospital Domestic Services Department.

Duties include cleaning within clinic & treatment rooms, offices and public areas to ensure compliance with Infection Prevention & Control.

Enhanced Rates Are Paid For Weekend Work, Unsocial Hours Work, And Overnight Hours. Uniform And PPE Supplied, Access To Workplace Pension Scheme, Along With Excellent Holiday Entitlement.

Band 2 Domestic Assistant

The hours for this post are 15 hours per week, to be worked Monday Friday 5pm 8pm.

Previous experience desirable although full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

You will need to be flexible, committed and have a positive attitude to your work.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
