Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a motivated domestic services assistant for Nairn Hospital. You will clean wards, clinics, treatment rooms, offices and public areas to maintain Infection Prevention & Control standards.

Uniform and PPE are supplied. The hours are 8am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday. Previous experience is desirable, but full training will be provided to successful applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare cleaning is desirable.
• Willingness to learn and follow Infection Prevention & Control procedures.
• Professional and reliable with good teamwork.

Duties include cleaning within wards, clinics and treatment rooms, offices and public areas to ensure compliance with Infection Prevention & Control.

Uniform and PPE supplied.

The hours for this post are between 8am and 8pm – (Monday-Sunday).

Previous experience desirable although full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

You will need to be flexible, committed and have a positive attitude to your work.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
