Job summary

HMH is seeking a Document Controller to join our Quality Assurance team in Aberdeen. You\'ll support databook preparation, documentation management, and regulatory compliance across new-build, overhaul, and repair projects.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, and vendors to gather records, ensure traceability, and maintain approved databooks in our document management system while promoting HSSE standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing documentation.
• Strong document control and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work across teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create and compile databooks, work packs, certificates, and supporting documentation in line with procedures.
• Coordinate customer and third‑party reviews of databooks.
• Retrieve historical manufacturing records, databooks, and quality documentation.
• Provide vendors with documentation and material certificates required for databook compilation.
• Maintain databooks and quality certification records, ensuring documents are released and accessible to customers.
• Provide documentation status updates to relevant stakeholders.
