Job summary

Balfour Beatty is delivering the Net Zero Teesside project and is seeking a skilled Document Controller at the Redcar site to manage project information within the Common Data Environment.

You will oversee document submissions, perform QA checks, track workflows, generate reports, and support ISO9001/ISO14001/ISO45001 compliance while coordinating with design, construction and client teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 5 years plus experience managing information through a CDE on Construction projects.
• Knowledge of UK and international standards and codes of practice for Document Control.
• Knowledge of electronic document control systems.
• Experience with ISO 9001 certifications.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Input into processes for timely and appropriate document submissions.
• Monitor document integration through approved workflows and perform QA checks.
• Produce reports and analyse data and trends.
• Review and update procedures, guidelines and workflows related to document control.
• Attend project meetings and provide guidance to team members.
