Job summary

The Resolute Group Ltd in Inverness is seeking a Document Controller to join a Tier 1 contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across Scotland. You will help create, configure and manage information workflows, ensuring the efficient movement of information between design, engineering, construction, supply chain and client.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Construction or Infrastructure sectors.
• Roles such as Document Controller, Information Controller, Information Coordinator, Digital Support, or similar.
• Experience creating/configuring/managing information workflows, not just processing documents.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 and information-management principles.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation, configuration and management of information workflows within the Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Ensure project information follows naming, metadata, classification, revision and status requirements.
• Monitor information moving between designers, subcontractors, project teams and the client.
• Identify information bottlenecks and help improve project workflows.
• Configure user access, permissions, notifications and workflow routing where required.
• Support project teams and supply-chain partners in using the CDE correctly.
• Carry out information-quality and compliance checks.
• Maintain appropriate information governance, controls and audit trails.
• Support information delivery through design and construction into project handover.
