Job summary

Critical Project Resourcing Ltd seeks an experienced Document Control Manager for a London-based hybrid role. You will lead a team of five Document Controllers and drive delivery and continuous improvement of document management across major infrastructure projects.

You will develop the team, implement and refine document control processes, and monitor KPIs to align with business strategy. You will oversee documentation lifecycle with clients, contractors and stakeholders, ensuring compliance

Qualifications

Extensive experience in document control/document management in engineering or major projects.
Proven experience managing and developing a document control team.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience with electronic document management systems, records tracking, archiving and retention.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 document requirements.
Familiarity with the Public Records Act 1958 and FOI Act 2000 provisions.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop a team of Document Controllers.
Lead the implementation, maintenance and improvement of document control processes and systems.
Manage team performance against KPIs, objectives and strategy.
Oversee lifecycle of project documentation between clients, contractors, stakeholders and interested parties.
Ensure effective document tracking, archiving, retention and storage.
Support review and acceptance of project deliverables and regulatory compliance.
