Job description
Divisional Director of Nursing AHP & Clinical Professions

Band 8d

We are looking for senior clinical professionals who are able to provide the strategic leadership and professional oversight in our clinical divisions. The postholder will shape and deliver divisional strategy, drive transformation and ensure the highest standards of clinical care, workforce development and patient experience.

The postholder will work closely with the Chief of Division and Divisional Director of Operations to shape and deliver divisional strategy but also with the Chief Nurse to deliver a trust wide corporate/quality objectives and clinical strategy.

This post includes participation in the Gold on call rota.

Responsibilities
  • The post holder will provide the strategic leadership and professional oversight for the delivery of the clinical care and patient experience.
  • The post holder will align the divisional priorities with the Trust objectives and embed a culture of excellence.
  • The post holder will lead the development of the Nursing/AHP and healthcare scientist agenda and hold a Trust quality priority and central corporate project aligned to their registration.
