Job summary

Manchester City Council is seeking a Registered Manager to lead a Disability Supported Accommodation Service. You will provide operational and professional leadership to ensure safe, person-centred care that meets CQC and regulatory standards.

You will manage a team of Support Coordinators, driving service improvements, staff development, and partnership working with families, health and social care professionals, and local authorities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 4/5 and the Registered Manager Award.
• Proven ability to lead, manage and develop high-performing teams.
• Extensive safeguarding knowledge and regulatory/quality standards.
• Experience building partnerships with individuals, families and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the service to deliver safe, effective, person-centred support.
• Develop staff through recruitment, supervision, coaching and performance management.
• Monitor quality, compliance and continuous improvement with audits and risk management.
• Collaborate with individuals, families, professionals and external agencies to drive outcomes.
