HSBC is seeking a Director, Business Development & Strategic Growth in Cambridge (hybrid). You will lead NTB origination, manage the Area NTB pipeline, and coordinate with Coverage, Sector, DFO and Product teams to drive client acquisition and revenue growth.

The role requires strong corporate banking experience, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to work in a matrix environment. It offers UK-based benefits and significant regional travel.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the NTB growth strategy; build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of priority opportunities; drive client acquisition and revenue growth.
• Own the Area NTB pipeline and governance framework; chair pipeline reviews and prioritisation forums; ensure opportunities are qualified, progressed and resourced.
• Act as the primary conduit between Area, DFO, Sector and Product teams; coordinate specialist support across priority opportunities; enable aligned pursuit strategies and remove barriers.
• Lead the pursuit discipline and opportunity management; support important client acquisitions; improve win rates through structured pursuit and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead Area events and business development initiatives; oversee use of prospecting tools and market intelligence; enhance HSBC’s profile in local markets.
• Own reporting, pipeline analytics and performance tracking; monitor conversion, revenue, and pipeline health; provide insights to optimise growth.
• Ensure origination activities operate within HSBC risk appetite and policy frameworks; maintain strong conduct, regulatory and governance standards.
