HSBC Holdings plc is seeking an experienced Director, Business Development & Strategic Growth to lead New-to-Bank origination across the South West and adjacent regions. The role coordinates coverage, sector, DFO and product teams to deliver growth, while maintaining robust governance and risk controls.

• Proven track record in client acquisition and growth delivery.

• Possess local area expertise and own contact network.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the NTB growth strategy and maintain a high-quality pipeline.
• Own the Area NTB pipeline and governance framework, chair review and prioritisation forums.
• Act as the primary conduit between the Area, DFO, Sector and Product teams to coordinate support.
• Lead the pursuit discipline and improve win rates through structured pursuit.
• Lead Area events and business development initiatives and improve market presence.
• Own reporting, pipeline analytics and performance tracking and provide growth insights.
