Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in St Albans seeks a Director, Business Development & Strategic Growth to lead NTB origination across the assigned area. You will orchestrate governance, pipeline management and cross‑functional collaboration with DFO, Sector and Product teams to drive client acquisition and revenue growth.

The role focuses on delivering robust growth, maintaining risk governance, and enabling Relationship Directors to focus on client acquisition while contributing to the bank’s strategic

Qualifications

• Strong Corporate Banking and business development experience.
• Proven track record in client acquisition and growth delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience leading initiatives in a matrix environment.
• Strong commercial judgement and analytical capability.
• Possess local area expertise and own contact network.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the NTB growth strategy.
• Own the Area NTB pipeline and governance framework.
• Act as the primary conduit between the Area, DFO, Sector and Product teams.
• Lead pursuit discipline and opportunity management to improve win rates.
• Lead Area events and business development initiatives and drive KBI activity.
• Own reporting, pipeline analytics and performance tracking.
