Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a senior leader to drive the commercial growth of OTC Derivatives Data. You will understand client workflows, translate market feedback into product opportunities and collaborate with Product, Sales and global teams to shape future solutions.

In this role you will engage with senior clients, develop datasets and analytics, and help define the expansion of derivatives data capabilities across markets. London-based with a global scope.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in derivatives, capital markets, market data, fintech or related field.
• Expert working level knowledge of OTC derivatives products and markets across asset classes.
• Practical understanding of derivatives workflows used by banks, asset managers, and other institutions.
• Previous roles may include Derivatives Trading, Risk, Valuations or Research.
• Ability to engage credibly with sophisticated derivatives practitioners across functions.
• Strong commercial awareness to identify client needs and convert them into revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the commercial growth strategy for OTC Derivatives Data, including business plans, segments and campaigns.
• Develop understanding of OTC derivatives markets, instruments and workflows across trading, risk and valuation.
• Work with clients to translate market feedback into actionable product opportunities.
• Partner with Product to identify new datasets, analytics, and delivery mechanisms.
• Identify longer-term growth opportunities from market structure, technology, regulation and client workflows.
• Develop clients as design partners for new products and capabilities.
• Engage directly with senior-level meetings, conferences and webinars.
• Build relationships with market participants for insights into evolving derivatives trends.
• Serve as market SME for OTC Derivatives Data to support Sales and positioning.
• Collaborate with Sales on commercialization, pricing and licensing structures.
• Create client presentations and marketing materials; respond to RFPs.
• Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify gaps and differentiators.
• Contribute thought leadership through industry channels.
