Job summary

VirtueTech Recruitment Group in London seeks a Senior Data Analyst with strong derivatives (OTC & ETD) to join the Chief Data Office. You will develop centralized automated datasets and models, spanning front office trading desks to settlements and clearing.

Job description

Senior Data Analyst with strong Derivatives - OTC & ETD required for a Cross Asset Trading House. Working in the Chief Data Office, this role will be exposed to every aspect of the business from their front office trading desks, Middle office finance (Ledger, P&L), through to Settlements and Clearing. As such, this role requires the ability to work with different business stakeholders and understand their requirements as to what data they need and how they want to commercialise it.

As a Senior DATA SME working in the CDO office your role will be to develop centralised automated datasets and models to meet business needs across the firm. Rapdily automating specified business requirements, advancing existing datasets and prototyping additional datasets and models.

This Senior Data Analyst role

3 days per week in office

Understanding of: Trade lifecycle, Derivatives (OTC & ETD), Clearing, Settlements

As a Senior Data Analyst you will get exposure across the full trade lifecycle, gaining extensive exposure to the firms products, covering analytical requirements, booking models, source systems and data flows. Working closely with the business, you will be encouraged to enhance and develop existing datasets, prototype and iteratively develop new datasets and models, rapidly automating business requirements.
