Job summary

Anaplan is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to lead our Technical Content team—responsible for Anapedia, Planual, and localisation. You will manage about 18 staff across three sub-teams, shaping direction, raising the bar, and stepping in where it matters.

You will drive a vision for technical content, partner with Product, Engineering, UX and Support, and champion AI-enabled workflows to accelerate creation, review, and translation at scale.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a mid-size team (roughly 15-25 people) in a content or knowledge-management function.
• Strong track record of setting up, maintaining, and scaling technical content operations at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI technologies applied to content creation, editing, QA, or localisation.
• Solid working knowledge of modern content management systems and documentation tooling (docs-as-code platforms, component CMS, etc.).
• Bias toward challenging existing processes and driving change while protecting content quality and customer trust.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering and Support.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model with occasional travel or site presence.

Responsibilities

• Set the direction and translate vision into a prioritised roadmap for Anaplan's technical content function.
• Lead a multi-team organisation, coaching leaders and writers to foster ownership and high quality output.
• Challenge outdated processes and introduce better ones to improve efficiency and impact.
• Scale content with AI‑powered tools and workflows to boost velocity and consistency.
• Modernise the content stack by selecting and evolving CMS and localisation tooling.
• Contribute hands-on to complex content and model editorial standards for teams.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, UX and Support to align with releases and roadmaps.
• Own localisation roadmap to ensure quality across languages and markets.
• Define metrics for content quality, coverage, freshness, and efficiency to drive improvement.
