We are seeking a Director of Sales to lead commercial strategy and performance across two landmark Heathrow Airport hotels : Best Western Heathrow Ariel and Novotel Heathrow. This is a high‑impact role at the heart of one of the world’s busiest international gateways, where corporate, leisure, airline crew, and MICE business converge.

Education & Experience
  • Degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area
  • Excellent understanding of airport‑driven markets : corporate travel, delayed flights, airline contracts, leisure stopovers, group tours, and MICE
  • Highly commercial mindset with a data‑led approach to performance
Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Group Director of Sales and DOS across the portfolio to implement strategies tailored to Heathrow’s unique market mix
  • Develop and sustain an aggressive solicitation program targeting airline crews, corporate accounts, tour operators, and transit passengers
  • Collaborate with management to create sales plans that maximise revenue from both rooms and M&E, aligned with airport demand cycles
  • Support promotions that leverage Heathrow’s global connectivity and high passenger traffic
Managing Sales Activities
  • Oversee day‑to‑day sales and front desk operations with a focus on airport guest needs (delayed flights, park and stay, groups, Arline crew, project works and corporates)
  • Participate in sales calls to secure new airline, corporate, and travel trade contracts
  • Use available sales systems to analyse Heathrow market trends and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Assist Revenue Management in preparing accurate quarterly forecasts, factoring in airport seasonality and airline schedules
Building Successful Relationships
  • Build strong client relationships by understanding the needs of airport travellers and exceeding expectations
  • Anticipate the requirements of airline crews, transit passengers, and corporate travellers to deliver tailored solutions
  • Develop and manage relationships with key Heathrow stakeholders : airlines, travel agents, tour operators, and corporate partners
  • Collaborate with off‑property sales channels to ensure portfolio goals are achieved
  • Represent the hotels and the groups hotel portfolio at trade shows, local events and airline networking events
