Job summary

Catalent, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Director for Micronization to drive growth by identifying and closing micronization development, technology transfer, and commercial supply opportunities.

This Field Based role focuses on expanding relationships with new and existing customers in the pharmaceutical sector. You will lead cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into technical and commercial solutions, manage pricing and negotiations, and develop strategic partnerships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, business, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development or sales within pharma/biotech/Life Sciences or CDMO.
• Demonstrated micronization and/or API manufacturing experience with ability to explain complex tech to customers.
• Proven track record in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities.
• Experience with proposals, commercial quotations, budgeting, and project scoping/timelines.
• Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and secure new micronization business opportunities across accounts and prospects.
• Develop account strategies, identify decision-makers, and prioritize opportunities to maximize revenue.
• Manage pricing, forecasts, contracts, renewals and business reviews with customers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop proposals, quotations, and commercial agreements.
• Present Catalent's capabilities and translate customer needs into technical and commercial solutions.
• Develop cross-selling opportunities for additional Catalent services.
