Catalent is seeking a Business Development Director - Micronization to evaluate and secure new micronization opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and drive revenue growth. This field-based role involves cross-functional collaboration, proposal development, and strategic account management to advance Catalent’s micronization capabilities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, business, or a related field.
• Master’s degree, MBA, or PhD preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development or sales in pharma/biotech/life sciences.
• Experience in micronization and/or API manufacturing with strong technical communication.
• Proven track record of identifying and securing new opportunities and new accounts.
• Experience with proposal development, quotations, budgeting, and project scoping.
• Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and customers’ scientists.
• MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel proficiency; Salesforce is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (Dartford, UK and Malvern PA).

Responsabilidades

• Identify, qualify, and secure new micronization opportunities across existing accounts and prospects.
• Develop account strategies, map decision-makers, and prioritize opportunities to grow revenue.
• Manage pricing, forecasts, contract negotiations, renewals, and business reviews.
• Collaborate with R&D, Contract Management, Legal, Finance, and other teams to develop proposals and commercial agreements.
• Present Catalent’s micronization capabilities and translate needs into technical and commercial solutions.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities for additional Catalent services.
• Monitor pipelines, market trends, and competition to identify new opportunities.
• Develop territory business plans, track sales, and maintain CRM records.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a responsive, customer-focused approach.
• Represent Catalent at customer meetings, industry events, and associations.
