Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (BSEE required; MSEE preferred).
• 7+ years’ experience in business development, strategic sales, or product line management in the semiconductor space.
• Proven expertise in embedded solutions, semiconductor technologies, and systems‑level architecture.
• Exceptional ability to engage cross‑functional teams and lead complex client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead their business unit’s efforts to grow Microchip’s portfolio across target markets and foster long‑term strategic partnerships
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to deliver comprehensive Total System Solutions (TSS) tailored to client needs
• Capturing feedback and influencing new product development across engineering, marketing, and product management
• Monitor competitive landscapes and perform market analysis to guide investment in emerging technologies and growth areas
• Represent Microchip at key industry forums, trade shows, and technical events to build brand presence and expand client engagement
• Partner with field sales and applications engineers to support design wins and accelerate revenue generation
• Serve as a strategic liaison between business units and regional teams—shaping account plans and participating in growth strategies for key customers
• Concentrate communication between the BU and field teams to increase efficiency and reduce redundancy
