Job summary

The University of the Built Environment is seeking a Head of Digital Assessment to lead the development and delivery of the digital assessment strategy, ensuring platforms, processes and practices enhance the student experience and support academic excellence.

You will work across academic schools, professional services and external partners to drive innovation, oversee assessment technologies and continually improve assessment and feedback practices.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in digital education, assessment or higher education leadership.
• Experience designing and/or improving digital assessment workflows and services at scale.
• Experience leading digital education, learning technology, or academic administration in higher education.
• Knowledge of pedagogic models and practices in higher education and their application to learning and assessment design.

Responsibilities

• Own the University's digital and online assessment framework and ensure alignment with academic practice and external stakeholders.
• Improve reliability, scalability and security of assessment services.
• Partner with student representatives to shape assessment activities and experiences.
• Create a culture of curiosity, innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
