Job summary
BIMM University is seeking a Head of Digital, AI & Platform Services to shape and evolve its enterprise platforms, digital products, and AI-enabled solutions across campuses. You will align technology investments with institutional priorities while guiding software engineering and governance practices across the organisation.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of platform performance, security and services, driving automation and innovative workflows to deliver value
Qualifications
- Significant experience leading digital platforms, software engineering or AI-enabled services within a complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications, platform architecture, systems integration and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience delivering digital products from discovery to implementation and ongoing enhancement.
- Knowledge of generative AI, automation technologies, large language models, APIs and emerging tools, applied responsibly.
Responsibilities
- Lead Digital, AI & Platform Services, uniting enterprise applications, software development, digital products and Digital Library Services.
- Define platform and product priorities to align with institutional objectives and user needs.
- Oversee enterprise platforms to ensure security, reliability and effectiveness.
- Lead software engineering and product development with modern practices and delivery standards.
- Drive AI, automation and intelligent workflows to enhance services and value.
- Ensure new products move from concept to sustainable, well-supported services.
- Oversee architecture, integrations and platform performance with Technology partners.
- Lead Digital Library Services to support teaching and access to digital resources.
- Build partnerships to translate priorities into actionable digital initiatives.
- Manage relationships with software vendors and delivery partners.
