Job summary

Wolseley Group in the UK is seeking a Director of Customer Fulfilment – Infrastructure to lead the operational performance across three Distribution Centres and the national fulfilment network. You will shape strategy, drive safety, service levels and continuous improvement, reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer.

You will develop a best-in-class fulfilment strategy, implement standardisation, automation and data-led decisions, and lead senior operational leaders across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience within multi-site distribution, warehousing, fulfilment or supply chain operations.
• Proven success leading large operational teams and delivering measurable improvements in service, productivity and cost efficiency.
• Experience leading senior operational leaders across multiple sites in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of transformation, automation and continuous improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational performance, strategy and customer fulfilment delivery across three Distribution Centres and the nationwide network.
• Manage and develop three Fulfilment Centre General Managers to build a high-performing leadership team.
• Develop and deliver a best-in-class customer fulfilment strategy to grow the business and improve customer experience.
• Drive operational excellence through standardisation, automation, innovation and data-driven decisions.
• Shape the future of the fulfilment network through long-term planning and transformational change programmes.
