Job summary

Wolseley Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Director of Customer Fulfilment to lead performance, strategy and customer fulfilment across three fulfilment centres and a national network. The role involves developing senior leaders and driving safety, service and continuous improvement.

We expect extensive experience in multisite distribution, a strong commercial mindset, and proven ability to deliver automation and efficiency while managing executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience within multi-site distribution, warehousing or fulfilment.
• Proven success in leading large operational teams and improving service, productivity and cost.
• Experience leading senior operational leaders across multiple sites in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with transformation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level communication.

As a Director of Customer Fulfilment reporting into our Chief Supply Chain Officer, you'll be responsible for:

• Leading the operational performance, strategy and customer fulfilment delivery across our three Fulfilment Centres and wider national network.
• Managing and developing three Fulfilment Centre General Managers, creating a high-performing leadership team focused on safety, service and continuous improvement.
• Developing and delivering a best-in-class customer fulfilment strategy that supports business growth whilst enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Driving operational excellence through standardisation, automation, innovation and data-led decision making.
• Shaping the future of the fulfilment network through long-term planning, investment decisions and transformational change programmes.

This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. We're open on location and welcome applications from candidates based anywhere in the UK, provided they are able to travel regularly across our Fulfilment Centres in Measham, Chesterfield and Darlington.
