Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Learning and Development Associate on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract to support group-wide Director and Executive development programmes and WL3-4 transitions. The role covers workshop management, inductions, and learning paths for new and promoted directors, with admin and supplier/budget oversight.

You will coordinate milestones across L&D workstreams, manage budgets, and maintain databases and leadership tools while delivering a high-quality service to internal

Qualifications

• Experience in a People environment is desirable.
• Experience in working with confidential information.
• Involvement with raising Purchase Orders, tracking budgets and Oracle Fusion is desirable.
• Experience with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end responsibility for the programme management of the WL3-4 transition programme.
• Support the Learning Manager with the review and implementation of a new leadership development approach.
• Ensure all newly hired or promoted Directors attend new-director Induction and learning path.
• Plan, schedule and provide full administration support for all director workshops and talent programmes.
• Maintain an accurate director database and deployment plan for the core offer.
• Update and share the Leadership Development toolkit with stakeholders.
• Deliver a world-class service to internal stakeholders by responding to queries within agreed timescales.
• Support evaluation of Director workshops and talent programmes by gathering evaluation data and producing reports.
• Monitor spend on Director workshops and talent programmes; manage POs/invoices and cross charges.
• Provide budget forecasting and management for the L&D team in coordination with Finance.
