Job summary

Parkside, based in Uxbridge, is seeking a commercially focused Learning & Development Manager on a 12-month FTC maternity cover. The role drives distributor capability, engagement and business growth across Europe and Africa, collaborating with Independent Distributors, Sales, Marketing, Events and Distributor Relations teams.

You will design and deliver impactful learning, training and field development initiatives that enhance sales effectiveness and support sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering L&D or capability-building programmes.
• Experience in commercial sales, marketing or business development.
• Strong content creation and training programme design skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience working across Europe and Africa markets.
• Knowledge of digital learning and LMS platforms.
• Proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach.
• Qualifications in e-learning or leadership development beneficial.

Our client based in Uxbridge is seeking a L&D Manager to join their team for a 12 Month FTC Maternity cover. This is not a traditional HR Learning & Development role. We’re looking for a commercially focused Learning & Development Manager to drive Distributor capability, engagement and business growth across Europe and Africa. Working closely with Independent Distributors, Sales, Marketing, Events and Distributor Relations teams, you’ll design and deliver impactful learning, training and field development initiatives that enhance sales effectiveness and support sustainable business growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in Sales Training, Sales Enablement, Commercial Learning, Business Education, Field Development or Distributor Development.

What You’ll Do

• Design and deliver engaging, end-to-end training programmes and learning journeys.
• Develop training and content covering products, services, marketing plans and business tools.
• Partner with content and digital teams to create effective digital learning solutions.
• Localise learning content for different markets and cultures across Europe and Africa.
• Drive adoption and effective use of the LMS across the Distributor network.
• Support field training initiatives, business development activities and large-scale events.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Events and Distributor Relations teams to align learning with business priorities.
• Monitor training engagement, completion and performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Continuously improve learning strategies, content and platforms.
• Lead and develop a Learning & Development Coordinator, ensuring high performance and ongoing development.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience designing and delivering L&D, training or capability-building programmes — essential.
• Experience within a commercial, sales, marketing or business development environment is preferred.
• Strong experience in training programme design and content creation.
• Confident delivering engaging, high-energy training experiences.
• Experience working across multiple markets, countries and cultures.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with Distributors, franchisees, independent business owners or sales networks is highly desirable.
• Experience with digital learning and LMS platforms.
• A proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach.
• A strategic, impact-focused mindset with the ability to translate business needs into practical learning solutions.
• Qualifications or certifications in e-learning, coaching, leadership development or related areas would be beneficial
