Job summary

Veeam Kasten for Kubernetes leads a world-class field team delivering data protection for cloud-native apps and AI workloads. Reporting to Worldwide Kasten Solution Sales, the role shapes territory strategy and drives technical wins across EMEA and APJ while collaborating with product and engineering.

This is a hands-on leadership role, inheriting senior specialists, aimed at sharper execution, wider regional coverage, and stronger positioning of Kasten and VDP. Travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years pre-sales or solutions engineering in enterprise software.
• 3+ years in people leadership across countries and time zones.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and virtualization experience in production or evaluation.
• Proven success in complex enterprise deals with long sales cycles.
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value for executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed team of Kasten Specialists across EMEA and APJ.
• Own the technical win: discovery, architecture, demonstrations, and POC execution.
• Partner with regional specialist and field sales leaders on territory planning, pipeline development, and pursuit strategy.
• Build Kasten and VDP Proxy capability across the wider Veeam field organization through enablement, certification, and repeatable assets.
• Develop ecosystem relationships with Red Hat, AWS, SUSE, and regional channel partners and system integrators.
• Travel up to 30% across EMEA and APJ, with occasional global travel.
