Job summary

Broadcom is seeking an Application Engineer Leader, VKS (EMEA) to head up Application Engineering for vSphere Kubernetes Service in the EMEA region. You will define how vKS is implemented and scaled, build strong partnerships with customers and ecosystem partners, and lead a team of application engineers to deliver tangible business outcomes across the region.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise application engineering, with 5+ years in cloud-native/Kubernetes platforms.
• Strong Kubernetes, DevOps, CI/CD, Open Source tools background with pipeline automation and enterprise deployment practices.
• CNCF certifications.
• Proven record of leading technical teams across a geographic region (direct or matrixed).
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence enterprise decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional strategy & execution for EMEA, translating global vKS vision into actionable programs.
• Engage with CIO/CTO-level customers, positioning VCF + vKS as the enterprise Kubernetes platform of choice.
• Provide solution architecture leadership across container-based apps, infrastructure, and DevOps.
• Partner with sales to drive technical validation, presales success, and smooth handoffs to delivery teams.
• Capture customer insights to influence vKS and VCF product direction for regional needs.
• Build and mentor a regional team of Application Engineers and establish scalable enablement models.
• Travel up to 50% to meet customers and drive co-selling motions.
