Job summary

Ipsen Biopharm Ltd. is seeking a Director of Business Management for the Clinical Development Operations function in London. The role partners with the CDO Leadership Team to drive portfolio oversight, capacity planning and financial governance across a global operation.

You will lead a small team, develop enterprise-wide planning frameworks, and provide strategic insights to inform resource allocation and investment decisions in a matrix organisation.

Qualifications

• Typically 10–12+ years in CDO operations, R&D business ops, portfolio or capacity planning.
• Significant leadership experience in global R&D or Clinical Development organizations.
• Strong financial planning, budgeting, and investment-analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the CDO Business Management function, supporting portfolio oversight, workforce planning, financial governance and performance.
• Drive workforce forecasting, resource allocation and governance across global operations.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs and reporting to enable evidence-based decision-making for senior leadership.
• Partner with Finance, HR, Portfolio Management and Procurement to align investments with strategy.
• Support executive planning, town halls and leadership reviews with actionable insights.
