Open Door Scotland in Livingston is seeking a Digital Support & Social Media Apprentice to learn on the job while supporting frontline services and online presence.

You will handle inquiries across phone, email and social channels, and help manage content and campaigns using a suite of Microsoft 365 tools and Canva. The role offers hands-on training with clear development paths in a charitable environment.

• Creative approach to producing engaging digital content.

• Willingness to learn and develop digital administration and social media skills.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for enquiries via telephone, email and social media channels.
• Use Microsoft Outlook to manage inboxes, schedule meetings and communicate with stakeholders.
• Become a system expert in Word, Excel and SharePoint to record and maintain information.
• Organise and manage digital files and folders for easy access by the team.
• Collaborate through Teams, share updates and support day-to-day administration.
• Use Excel to maintain records, update databases and generate reports.
• Create and schedule social media content across platforms like Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Use Canva to create engaging social posts and promotional content.
• Monitor social media engagement and support awareness campaigns.
• Assist with updating websites using Webflow and publishing pages.
