Job summary

Open Door Scotland is hiring a Digital Support & Social Media Apprentice to assist with enquiry handling, digital filing and content creation.

You will work with MS Office, SharePoint, Teams and Canva, supporting daily admin tasks while learning to manage social media channels and update the charity websites. The apprenticeship leads to a nationally recognised SCQF Level 6 qualification.

Qualifications

• Interest in digital administration and social media
• Willingness to learn and develop digital skills
• Ability to manage enquiries professionally
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and cloud tools
• Supportive team player with proactive attitude
• Good written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for enquiries via phone, email and social media
• Use Outlook to manage inboxes, schedule meetings and communicate with stakeholders
• Develop expertise in Word, Excel and SharePoint for record keeping
• Organise digital files and ensure accessible information for the team
• Collaborate via Teams, share updates and support admin tasks
• Create and schedule social content across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
