Job summary

QA in Edinburgh invites aspiring technicians to join our refurbishment centre as a vocational apprentice. You will learn to install, configure and service Multi-Functional Devices, log work in our digital systems, and support stock control while gaining a recognised SCQF Level 6 qualification.

Under the guidance of your skills coach and work mentor, you’ll build hands-on experience, develop IT fluency, and grow toward a permanent role within QA’s sustainable, circular-first approach to managed

Qualifications

Basic IT knowledge and aptitude for digital systems.
Full driving licence required.
Hands-on approach with practical problem-solving.
Strong communication skills.
Willingness to learn and develop through apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

Log, manage and update installation jobs using Vantage Online.
Visit customer sites for equipment installations and site surveys.
Raise purchase orders and manage parts with digital records.
Train to become a key user of Vantage Online and digital platforms.
Support installation, configuration and commissioning of MFDs.
Maintain documentation using MS Office to coordinate schedules and track progress.
Coordinate with engineers and warehouse staff to manage workloads.
Assist with digital stock control and inventory management.
Adhere to quality, health & safety and data management standards.
