Galliford Try Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support commercial and pre-construction delivery on regional infrastructure in Leicestershire. You will work with the Commercial Manager, managing budgets, tender submissions and supplier performance while ensuring contract alignment and risk control.

The role requires NEC3/NEC4 knowledge, strong commercial awareness and data analysis skills, with DV security clearance becoming essential for the position.

Competenze

• Experience in pre-construction commercial activities such as budgets, cost plans and tenders.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier engagement.
• Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and cost planning.
• Analytical mindset with ability to analyse data and risks.
• Collaborative, proactive and detail-focused, with security clearance capability.

Mansioni

• Support pre-construction commercial activities including budgets, cost plans, tenders and submissions
• Monitor risks, budgets, procurement progress and supplier performance
• Maintain trackers, forecasts, risk registers and financial records
• Assist with procurement planning and supplier engagement
• Prepare enquiries and analyse quotations for value, compliance and risk
• Produce comparisons, recommendations and maintain procurement records
• Support contract reviews, identify risks and obligations
• Maintain contractual documentation and records
• Support cost, value and margin reporting
