Job summary

The Talent Set, partnering with Blind Veterans UK, is seeking a Digital Editor to lead engaging website content across channels. You will optimise for search, accessibility and branding, delivering content that meets user needs and organisational objectives.

You'll manage content lifecycle, collaborate with stakeholders to clarify briefs, and use analytics to drive continuous improvement while ensuring consistency with guidelines and governance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in writing, editing, and publishing digital content for websites.
• Hands-on CMS experience, particularly Umbraco or similar systems.
• Strong SEO, accessibility, and UX understanding.
• Excellent editorial judgement and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to define content requirements.
• Ability to translate organisational messaging into accessible digital content.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, publish and maintain website content using the CMS.
• Advise on digital content strategy based on user needs, search optimisation, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify briefs and produce targeted, user-centred content.
• Manage content lifecycle, reviews, updates or removal of underperforming material.
• Implement on-page SEO and content structure focusing on user intent.
• Check assets for consent/permissions before publication.
• Support content adaptation for email and social channels with cohesive messaging.
• Promote content governance, accessibility, and sitemap organisation.
• Use analytics to inform content improvements.
