Muslim Hands is seeking a Digital Content Editor to enhance our website, crowdfunding pages and app, ensuring content stays fresh, engaging and easy to navigate.

You will publish and maintain digital content, including campaigns and resources, while using SEO, CRO and A/B testing to improve the user journey and turn clicks into meaningful action. This role is hybrid with occasional travel to international offices.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience managing website content.
• Experience using Umbraco or a similar CMS.
• Excellent copy editing and proofreading skills.
• Strong SEO knowledge to improve search visibility.
• Understanding of UX and CRO.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Experience working within a UK charity or NGO.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day content across our website and app using Umbraco.
• Publish and maintain engaging content, including appeals, campaigns, Islamic resources, events, crowdfunding pages, volunteering information, policies and governance.
• Ensure all content is accurate, engaging and consistent with the Muslim Hands tone of voice.
• Keep website navigation and content structure clear, intuitive and user friendly.
• Regularly review and refresh content to keep information relevant and up to date.
• Upload and format copy, photography, videos, downloadable resources and interactive content across our website and app.
• Apply on-page SEO best practices and carry out keyword research to guide content planning.
• Monitor search performance and identify opportunities to improve visibility.
• Create and optimise high converting landing pages to support paid media campaigns.
• Identify ways to improve user journeys across our digital platforms.
• Plan and implement A/B tests across key landing pages and donation journeys.
• Track website performance using Google Analytics 4, Umbraco and other reporting tools, turning data into actionable improvements.
