Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail required.
• Willingness to learn new clinical and digital systems.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Understanding of confidentiality and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Review and process patient requests via digital and approved channels.
• Review, categorise and route requests using clinical/digital systems.
• Signpost patients to appropriate services, with no clinical advice given.
• Escalate red-flag or urgent clinical concerns to a clinician.
• Maintain accurate patient information in clinical systems.
• Explain options and access routes without making clinical decisions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to manage workflows and signposting.
• Suggest improvements to access, workflows and data quality.
