Job Description:

Digital Business Development Manager

Salary: £30-£50k basic + healthy commission (flexible depending on experience)

Location: Burnley & Manchester, Hybrid Working

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a performance marketing agency with offices in Lancashire and Manchester as their new Business Development Manager. They seek someone with proven experience and knowledge of bespoke digital marketing to develop sales opportunities with target organizations. The agency is well-established with an almost entirely retained client base and aims to expand further in 2024. They are a down-to-earth team passionate about their work.

The role as Business Development Manager:
  • Conduct sales outreach via email, calls, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Manage and deliver sales opportunities and pitches.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align activities, supported by ongoing marketing communications and events.
  • Lead agency events, usually quarterly.
  • Network and represent the agency at third-party events.
What you’ll need:
  • Proven business development experience and digital marketing knowledge.
  • Experience in an agency setting is a plus.
  • Charisma and strong conversation leadership skills.
  • Willingness to meet clients in person.

The role involves working in the office a couple of days a week. The main office is in Burnley, with an additional office in Manchester City Centre. You will also meet clients on-site and attend relevant events and networking opportunities.

You will work closely with the Client Services team, who will handle account delivery and growth, allowing you to focus on new opportunities.

This is a long-term position; they seek someone who will become a core team member and are willing to invest in your development.
