Job summary

Sky News is seeking a Head of Audience – Digital to shape growth, engagement and conversion across our digital platforms. You will connect editorial judgement, audience insight and commercial awareness to deliver distinctive video-first experiences.

You’ll lead a team across editorial, product and data, translating insights into editorial and product actions while upholding trust and brand standards. Hybrid working in Osterley with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Significant senior experience in digital news, publishing, audience development, or a closely related environment.
• Deep understanding of digital audience journeys from discovery to retention.
• Excellent editorial judgement with the ability to deliver a premium, video-first content mix.
• Proven ability to translate audience insight and performance data into strategic and operational decisions.
• Experience shaping digital propositions and platform strategies across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the audience growth, engagement and conversion strategy across digital platforms.
• Define end-to-end journey priorities across discovery, acquisition, engagement, registration, conversion and retention.
• Provide senior editorial leadership for the presentation, curation and distribution of Sky News content on digital platforms.
• Lead, develop and motivate platform specialists, building a collaborative, audience-focused culture centered on editorial excellence.
