Job summary

Sky UK Limited is seeking a Head of Audience Analytics & Insights for Sky News. You will own the audience measurement framework across broadcast, digital, social and direct channels, translating data into clear recommendations and outcomes for editorial, product, platform and commercial decisions.

You will build and lead a high-performing Analytics and Insight team, embedding evidence-led decision-making and coordinating governance and priorities across the function.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading audience data, analytics or insight functions in media or consumer businesses.
• Deep understanding of audience analytics, content metrics, consumer behaviour and measurement frameworks.
• Proven ability to embed evidence-led decision-making and turn complex analysis into actionable outcomes.
• Strong strategic thinking, governance, prioritisation and resource-management.
• Ability to lead Analytics and Insight disciplines as one high-performing function.
• Excellent senior stakeholder-management and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own Sky News’ audience measurement framework across broadcast, digital, social and direct audiences.
• Lead recurring performance reporting, diagnostics and deep dives to identify what changed and why.
• Turn analytics into clear implications and practical recommendations; track adoption and impact.
• Lead senior performance conversations and translate evidence for non-technical audiences.
• Set strategic priorities and reduce low-value reporting to maximise impact.
• Develop Analytics and Insight managers and analysts into a cohesive, rigorous team.
