A health service provider in Maidenhead is seeking a motivated Bank Dietitian to deliver engaging group education sessions as part of the Tier 2 Weight Management Service. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Bank Dietitian to join our team and deliver group education sessions as part of the Tier 2 Weight Management Service for Maidenhead. This role is ideal for a dietitian looking to gain additional paid hours and contribute to the delivery of a new and impactful community-based programme. Sessions will take place weekly on Wednesday evenings at St Marks Hospital, Maidenhead.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering evidence-based group weight management sessions, supporting participants to make positive lifestyle changes. Duties will include:
Facilitating weekly evening group sessions (up to 90 minutes).
Delivering nutrition and lifestyle education in an engaging and accessible way.
Primary Care Dietitian is England's only national independent specialist first contact dietitian provider who is purely focused on supporting NHS Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and their GP practices to deliver high-quality and tech-enabled NHS primary care dietetic solutions.

The post holder will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the service is delivered effectively, consistently, and in line with local and national guidance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical
Deliver engaging, evidence-based group sessions (up to 90 minutes) focused on weight management and healthy lifestyle change.
Support participants to set realistic goals and adopt practical strategies for long-term weight management.
Use behaviour change techniques to motivate and empower patients.
Prepare, adapt, and deliver teaching materials, including presentations and resources.
Monitor attendance and provide feedback to the service manager as required.
Professional
Maintain HCPC registration and adhere to the HCPC Standards of Conduct, Performance, and Ethics.
Engage in regular professional development to ensure practice reflects current evidence.
Adhere to confidentiality, safeguarding, and data protection policies.
Administrative
Record attendance, patient engagement, and feedback following each session.
Contribute to service monitoring and evaluation as required.
Liaise effectively with the Primary Care Dietitians team and PCN colleagues.
