Job summary

Roche Diagnostics is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer for the South and South West England region. You will diagnose, repair and maintain complex electro‑mechanical systems, perform installations and preventative maintenance, and train customers to ensure optimal use of Roche equipment.

The role involves travel within the UK, providing on‑site and remote support, and collaborating with the regional team to support product launches and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service for high‑value capital equipment.
• Strong diagnostic skills from component‑level to system‑level.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electro‑mechanical, fluidic, and electronic systems across the South and South West England region.
• Carry out preventative, corrective, installation for Roche products.
• Deliver on‑site and office‑based customer training to ensure effective equipment use.
• Support new product launches and help grow key business accounts across your territory.
• Collaborate with the Regional Technical Manager and wider Technical Services team to deliver exceptional service.
• Represent Roche with professionalism and integrity at customer sites across the region (with occasional UK travel).
