Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician at a leading main dealership in Torquay, Devon. Work in a state-of-the-art workshop using advanced diagnostic equipment to diagnose, repair, and service modern vehicles while delivering excellent customer service.
The role offers a competitive basic salary up to £40,000 with uncapped OTE around £48,000, a flexible Mon-Fri pattern with Saturday mornings on a rota, and ongoing training to stay ahead in automotive
Qualifications
- Master Technician or Diagnostic certification preferred but not essential.
- Proven experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs.
- Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Leadership qualities and willingness to mentor teammates.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards.
- Stay current with developments in automotive technology, including hybrids and EVs.
- Provide clear repair explanations and estimates to customers.
- Uphold high quality and safety standards in all work.
- Mentor and support junior technicians, fostering a collaborative team environment.
