Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Uttoxeter seeks a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a family-run independent service centre. You will service and repair a wide range of vehicles, including hybrids and EVs, in a supportive, quality-focused environment.

The role offers a competitive salary around £38,000, Monday to Friday, 8am–5:30pm, modern workshop facilities, and opportunities for ongoing training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles preferred.
• MOT tester qualification is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle servicing and repairs to high standards.
• Perform diagnostics using advanced equipment on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Carry out vehicle inspections, including MOT testing (if qualified).
• Maintain accurate work records and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and technical advice to clients.
• Assist with general maintenance and electrical diagnostics as required.
