Perfect Placement is seeking a talented Diagnostic Vehicle Technician for a renowned main dealership in Torquay, Devon. You will diagnose, repair, and service vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools, while delivering excellent customer service in a collaborative environment.

You will work with modern vehicle systems, including hybrid and electric tech, and participate in ongoing training to stay ahead in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• Master Technician or Diagnostic certification preferred but not essential.
• Proven experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs.
• Strong knowledge of hybrid, electric, and safety features.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Leadership qualities and willingness to support team development.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Perform routine servicing and maintenance in line with manufacturer standards.
• Stay current with developments in automotive technology, including hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
• Provide clear explanations of repair requirements and estimates to customers.
• Uphold high standards of quality and safety in all work undertaken.
• Mentor and support junior technicians, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Duties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
