Job summary

Perfect Placement is seeking a skilled vehicle technician for a reputable main dealership in Leicester. The technician will deliver servicing, diagnostics and repairs to high standards using modern equipment.

The role offers a competitive salary (£37,285–£45,662), with potential earnings up to £49,862 OTE based on productivity and customer satisfaction. Benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a vehicle technician within a main dealer or comparable workshop.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with knowledge of electrical systems.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, warranty work, and repairs to vehicles.
• Complete mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Work according to manufacturer standards and dealership processes.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, to a high standard of quality and safety.
• Support less experienced technicians when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workshop environment.
