Perfect Placement is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join a reputable main dealership in Leicester. You will work with state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and benefit from ongoing manufacturer training, including EV and hybrid technology.

Join a collaborative team of 11 technicians in a 16‑ramp workshop, with a competitive salary (£46,295 base, OTE ~£50,000), generous holidays, and a strong focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven diagnostic experience across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong fault-finding abilities with attention to safety and quality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork to support apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostics, warranty, and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify faults accurately.
• Carry out EV and hybrid servicing where qualified.
• Mentor and train Apprentice Technicians.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance in the workshop.
• Contribute to high CSIs and customer satisfaction.
• Work within a 16-ramp workshop alongside 11 technicians.
