Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a skilled vehicle technician for a reputable main dealership in Leicester. You will perform servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to high standards, following manufacturer guidelines and dealership processes.

The role offers a competitive salary £37,285 to £45,662 with OTE up to £49,862, 25 days leave plus bank holidays, a pension, life assurance, and extensive training including hybrid/electric vehicle servicing.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Proven experience in main dealer or similar workshop.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with electrical knowledge.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent teamwork and communication; full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, warranty work and repairs.
• Perform mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs accurately.
• Diagnose vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Work to manufacturer standards and dealership processes.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to high quality standards.
• Support less experienced technicians and keep the workshop organized.
